RYDER
Age: 5
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to a very interesting, curious, and handsome boy named Ryder. Ryder is a Jack Russell blend who has beautiful markings and the most expressively beautiful face. As long tall legs and a slender body and that tail… That tail curls up like a corkscrew.
Enough on his physical attributes, Ryder is a very fun and zestful creature. He has an inner joy that just shines through when he sees a toy, a water hose, or some bubbles. You heard me correctly, Ryder goes bonkers if you blow bubbles for him. It’s hard to blow bubbles and laugh at the same time trust me.
OK now the basics of this beautiful dog. Ryder is five years old and weighs about 21 pounds. He absolutely loves people, maybe not so much small children but older kids he adores. He loves to romp and play and run and go for walks and go for rides. This dog thinks he is a human.
He has done well with the dogs here at Raintree, but before coming here was never socialized with other dogs. He was just a house dog and an only pet. The only negative behavior with other dogs that I have seen is the nine puppies were in the play yard with him, and they wanted to keep playing with him and clobbering him and he finally growled and chased one because he was on the bottom of the puppy pile lol.
Ryder has been neutered and he is up to date on his vaccines. He is also heartworm negative and on prevention. This guy would be so much fun for our family with older kids who would get out in the yard and play with him or if you’re a big kid like me, he would be great for you too! He just needs a lot of stimulus and a lot of playtime and a lot of attention. He’s a really good dog.

MORGAN
Age: 4
Hello out there big world. I am Morgan, a very handsome and dapper Jack Russell terrier true to my breed. I am four years old, and I weigh 15 pounds, and I think I weigh 115 pounds. I’m a sweet boy and I love people, and I love to go walking and exploring and jumping up on things to see what’s there.
I came to Raintree Jacks when I was found as a stray doing what I do best just snooping around. I was not neutered at the time, so I had to explore every nook cranny Avenue and around every corner so it’s no wonder I got lost.
Now I’m here at Raintree and I have been fully vetted. I’m heartworm negative and I’m neutered. That’s not something. I’m particularly proud of, but it’s a fact, Jack. I get along with other dogs when we’re introduced properly if they’re not too in my face. I won’t necessarily start an argument, but I won’t walk away from one either. Imagine that a Jack Russell not running from a show showdown.
I’m super smart. I love to learn I’m agile, healthy, cute, athletic, energetic, curious, playful, and did I mention cute? I would really like to have the chance to blend into a wonderful family and be a part of their pack. BOOTS
Age: 7
Boots is a 7 year old little jack Russell chihuahua mix who is a charming, opinionated, mouthy at times, loving at times, sweet, sour and ornery. He has the cutest little underbite and when you try to get him up out of bed in the morning he loves to show it off and snap his teeth together, so make sure to move faster than he does.
Boots can be a sweet and adorable charmer who loves to cuddle and snuggle. He likes lap time and watching TV and laying in a clothes basket full of fresh warm clothes.
He isn’t great with men, especially if they are wearing boots. Could be how he got his name. Hmmm, could be how he got his underbite. He came to Raintree with the name and the underbite and we love both.
Boots will need a special someone with patience and tolerance for a snarky little turd. He is really a love and a turd all wrapped in one. The chihuahua is definitely the dominant breed within him. But he’s so darn cute.
