Raintree 5th Annual Jackfest!

We would like to say a special thanks to all of our bands performing at Jackfest 2025, for donating your time and talents to help support Raintree’s rescue mission.

There will be music all day (no tickets to buy) with our Headliner 10 cents Rich, a repeat fan favorite from last year’s Jackfest performing at 8PM. This year they will have the entire band performing.

Bring your dogs (on leash of course)

We will be celebrating Raintree and all the great little dogs we have been blessed to save and adopt to new families!

To date, there have been 1,000 recorded adoptions at Raintree Jacks.

*Meet some awesome rescue dogs ready to be adopted. An approved application is required to take a dog home on Jackfest day. If you are coming to Jackfest and don’t have an approved application and want to adopt, send an email to get an application to raintreejacksrescue@gmail.com so you can take your new 4-legged friend home with you.

This is also a fundraising event as Rescue is very costly. Raintree Jacks is a licensed non-profit dog rescue and operates solely by donations.

***There will be room for RV parking but no electric or water hook ups! Please RSVP if you wish to bring your RVs

Closest hotels are in Camden, SC. There are 2 pet friendly hotels: Comfort Inn and Colony Inn, both in Camden!

Here is how it works for our online friends who can’t make it to Jackfest 2025.

You Venmo, Paypal or send a check (to arrive before October 23) for however many envelopes you would like. You must put “Envelopes” in your Venmo or paypal comments so we will know what you are sending funds for. You can pick your color or let us choose for you. Please include your color choices in the comments as well.

At Jackfest we will draw the envelopes for you and it will take a few days to get everything logged and messages sent to everyone and let them know what they won.

Operations and facility expenses are astronomical at rescues. It goes way deeper than just vetting, dog food, treats, blankets, toys, medicines, heartworm and flea preventions, leashes, collars, harnesses.

There are MANY hidden expenses that are unseen that must be paid to even keep the doors open. Insurances, taxes (yes we have to pay taxes. Our county property taxes last year alone were $4,200), building and facility maintenance, grounds maintenance… replacing old and damaged kennels and fencing, the list goes on.

Raintree Jacks Inc is 100% funded by your individual donations. Without you, there simply would be no rescue.

What Is Raintree Jacks?

Founded in 2013, Raintree Jacks is a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 rescue dedicated to saving the lives of Jack Russell Terriers. We actively rescue dogs from high-kill shelters, accept owner surrenders, and strays. Raintree Jacks is in a rural section of Kershaw County, South Carolina and offers lots of room for the little white dogs to run and play. We love to meet fellow jack lovers and visiting the rescue to adopt or just to visit or volunteer is by appointment only.

What’s our Mission?

Raintree actively rescues dogs from high-kill shelters and takes owner surrenders and strays. We provide quality care, vetting, compassion, and sanctuary for them until a loving home can be found. Raintree Jacks is dedicated to the well-being of the terriers. Each dog is spayed or neutered, is given rabies, DHLPP, and bordetella vaccines and is heartworm tested prior to placement in a permanent home. At Raintree, it’s all about the Jack.

We’re proud to be a part of the community, serving friends and neighbors — whether they have two legs, or four.
