Raintree Jacks’ Treehouse

The Treehouse is a great little house situated on 5 acres, nestled in the trees, right next door to Raintree Farms and Raintree Jacks. Our rescue office is located in the Treehouse and it serves as the hub for all the rescue activities.
We wanted a warm and welcoming place where our out-of town adopters and guests could stay overnight, or a few nights, and not have to be 15 miles from Raintree where the nearest hotel is located. Our guests will have the use of 2 bedrooms, each with double beds, and another double mattress is available if needed! Of course there is a full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and all cookware and utensils needed to make your own meals! There is a television (local stations) and a DVD player as well, so bring your favorite movies along!

Enjoy swaying gently in the hammock swing on the country porch. Listen to the birds sing and crickets chirp, watch the squirrels play and hummingbirds feed, and just unwind in the peace of the country. Take a stroll around the farm, walk the dogs, even throw some horse shoes! Or just be still and get away from the hustle bustle of life.
There is a beautiful 4 acre open field where you can play so bring your football, frisbee, or set up your volleyball net! There is even enough space to set up an agility course for your dogs if you wanted to! (bring your own equipment).

Located in Cassatt, South Carolina, the Treehouse is just 12 miles north of Historic Camden, home of the world famous Carolina Cup and Colonial Cup steeplechase races! It’s just a 45 minute drive to Columbia and 40 minutes off the I 95 corridor, making the Treehouse a wonderful stop-over point for those traveling the East Coast.
The rental fee for the Treehouse is just $95 a night, hotels in town are $130 plus taxes and fees . Towels, sheets, and coffee are provided. Bring your snacks and drinks, or even enough to cook yourself a big meal. We are, of course, dog friendly, however our guests will be responsible for any damage as a result of their pets.

The Treehouse is the former home of our dearly departed, #1 dog-petter, Mr. Bill. He always proclaimed, “I never met a dog I didn’t like” and fondly referred to the property as “Dog Holler”. What better place to continue our mission of rescue!

*** Please note: The Treehouse is a no-smoking zone.
